Firework Safety Tips Ahead of Fourth of July

Fireworks

  • Do not purchase or set off fireworks in cities where fireworks are illegal
  • In areas where fireworks are legal, only purchase the approved "safe and sane" fireworks, which are identified by a sticker
  • Get community approval before setting off fireworks in neighborhoods
  • Set off legal fireworks away from trees, brush and power lines
  • Avoid lighting matches near trees or brush
  • Leave it up to the professionals: professional firework shows are safer than setting off explosives alone

VOS A Night in New York Celebration!

Citadel’s very own Loren Witkin was honored as VOS’ 2016 Man of the Year.

With more than three hundred guests in attendance, a 20 piece big band, and staged on the famous New York Street at CBS Radford Studios, Loren, and the other deserving honorees, were recognized for their contributions to the organization and community at large. In 2015, Loren co-led a trip of 19 teens to Xiloxochico, Mexico to work with the indigenous Nahau population (a trip that he also co-led in 2013), participated on several committees, and chaired the organization’s most attended and profitable fundraiser in 2015.

 Congratulations Loren!

LARE is comprised of executives from all aspects of the industry – construction, development, finance, insurance, legal, management, parking and more. Founded in 1996 by Richard Ziman, the LARE Council has raised over $22 million to benefit groundbreaking research at COH.   Citadel is proud to be contributing to such a worthwhile organization.

It is a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all across the globe. Citadel is hopeful that what we are doing will lead the way for gender parity so the generations of amazing women to come will know no limits to what they can accomplish.

Citadel is under contract to LAFC and Legends to provide environmental, health, and safety consulting services as part of the demolition of Los Angeles’ iconic L.A. Sports Arena and the redevelopment of the site with a state-of-the-art soccer only stadium in historic Exposition Park.
